This warning note is posted directly next to my mailbox.  I believe the message it is trying to get across is: No, of course you shouldn’t wake up really really early and take that much needed jog around the neighborhood.  I’m no fool, I know mountain lions attack “from above” – do I look up when I run?  No, no I don’t. 

I used to have to worry about finding hypodermic needles outside my door and now I have to worry about man-eating cats?  The world is not a safe place.
